Turkey Burger with Avocado Relish

They\’re filled with fresh ingredients — avocado, cilantro, and baby arugula. You won\’t miss?the standard, fatty beef burger while you sink the teeth into this.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1/8 teaspoon red pepper cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 jalape?o, seeded and minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons freshly chopped cilantro
  • 6 slider wholesome buns or small rolls
  • 3 slices low-fat Monterey Jack cheese, decline in half
  • 1 cup fresh arugula

Instructions

  1. Lightly oil and warm grill to medium heat.
  2. In small bowl, mix turkey, cayenne, paprika, and salt. Form into 6 patties Press thumb in center of patties therefore, the burger is not going to bulge in the center. Put on grill and grill all sides approximately 6 minutes or until no pink remains from the center.
  3. For the avocado relish, lightly mash avocado with onion, jalape?o, lime juice, and cilantro. The avocado mixture need to be creamy but slightly lumpy.
  4. To collect, place burger on bun. Top with 1/2 cheese slice, avocado relish, and arugula. Serve.
