Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 large egg white
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon ancho chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound raw almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a sizable bowl, combine water and egg white. Whisk until foamy. Add remaining ingredients, except for almonds, and whisk well. Making use of your hands, add some almonds and blend to coat evenly. Spread in just one layer on prepared baking sheet.
